Volunteers are already busy sorting donated books, Vinyl LPs, CDs, DVDs, and more for your easy browsing. Soon the program tent will fill with authors, a costumed book character will greet children, and the Cookbook Café’s famous baked goods will be available.
The Festival of Books is more than a gathering of readers in search of bargains or authors’ signatures. The Festival is a major fundraiser for the Spencertown Academy Arts Center. The Academy derives the majority of its operating expenses from the Festival, other signature events, memberships and donations.
